5 Flower Plant For Small Aromatic Garden

Usually, we appreciate plants with our eyes because we admire their colors and shapes, but the aroma is something else, it may be invisible, but adds significantly to the pleasures of gardening dimension and with a little planning, plant they give your garden an extra dimension. Here are 5 aromatic plants perfect for a small space.

The plants smell always be a delight to the senses in general. Having even one of them, should be a rule to give your home a positive and magical vibration. The fragrance of the plants clean the environment and psyche are an antidote to sadness and an incentive for the soul.

Put them where you can enjoy its aroma when passing near them, it is the best you can give your private spaces. The smell in a garden is an integral experience, and in a small garden, can make the experience much richer. These are five examples of plants smell, but there are many more species to choose from.

1. Lavender

Lavender is an aromatic plant very versatile and has many uses in the garden landscape. Small and compact crops are suitable as edging plants for beds; they make higher crop coverage colors. They can be planted in rock gardens with dry soil other plants such as yarrow or dwarf Arabis, or even in large containers.

There are hundreds of varieties of lavender, but we usually go by what the nursery is available and it smells better. It is basically that are drought-tolerant plants and really like the sun.

It is also important to remember to deadheading – as short; the plant will be active to produce more. Even dead flowers retain their scent, so you can pick a bouquet and keep it near your bed.

2. Aromatic Geranio

You can plant a geranium near the busiest area of your home, so that anyone who feels close will be involved with the subtle scent that comes from the leaves of this plant. The geraniums, they are generally easy to grow and scented they are no different.

They are easily spread (as succulent, often grow simply by cutting a stem and putting in a little dirt). In addition, there is a great selection that can be found in a lot of nurseries.

3. Honeysuckle

Jasmine, honeysuckle is a vine of flowers that can break off a very strong odor. For some people it is too strong, but it is a very sweet fragrance and flowers are nice to make a big fence or trellis plant cover near an open window.

Honeysuckle is easy to grow, robust, heat resistant, and nearly indestructible. Showy and fragrant flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies all summer. The resulting fruit flowers provide a snack for your local songbirds.

Vines bloom heavily in spring and to some extent throughout the summer. Many varieties of honeysuckle will thrive in containers too.

4. Gardenias

People who have had tremendous success growing these plants smell cannot stop having the gardenia. Agree that there is nothing like the smell that comes from the white flowers of this beautiful plant. They are also beautiful, but require great care. Beside a garden table, they are perfect to inspire with her cute odor.

5. Mint

Mint is magical; because in addition to providing one of the most exquisite aromas, we use it to eat. When agitated in the garden releases its scent; when you cut the leaves, it releases aroma and if planted in a place that is in a wet side, it will grow like a weed. Having her through the front door is excellent aroma bouncing that welcomes you and tells you “see you later”.
